About Us

Walk through the front door at Elks Lodge 2103 on a weeknight and you'll likely find Becky behind the bar, a handful of regulars swapping stories, and the kind of easy comfort that takes most bars years to build. Reviewers consistently mention that first-time visitors feel like they've been coming here for decades, and that says everything about what this place actually is.

The lodge doubled down on its community role when Tammie Jo's Meal House set up its second kitchen inside. That partnership turned Lodge 2103 into something genuinely rare: a members' club where you can sit down to a real, made-from-scratch dinner. The downtown Tammie Jo's handles breakfast and lunch, but the Elks location brings the cooking to 120 N Main St in the evenings, giving Flora a dinner destination that feels nothing like a chain.

Rated 4.4 out of 5 across 34 reviews, Lodge 2103 earns its marks through straightforward hospitality. No gimmicks, no cover charge theater. Just a well-run club that takes its role in Clay County seriously and backs that up every time someone pulls up a stool.

What We Offer

The bar at Lodge 2103 keeps things unpretentious: cold pours, fair prices, and a bartender who actually remembers what you drink. It's the kind of neighborhood tap room that doesn't need a cocktail menu to justify itself.

Dinner is where things get interesting. Tammie Jo's Meal House operates its second location inside the lodge, bringing the same scratch cooking that built its downtown reputation to the evening crowd. Expect hearty, satisfying plates rather than fussy presentations, the sort of meal that makes you linger over a second drink.

Beyond the bar and kitchen, Lodge 2103 hosts the full range of Elks programming: charitable fundraisers, member events, youth scholarship initiatives, and community gatherings that have kept the BPOE relevant in small-town Illinois. Whether you're a longtime Elk or a guest exploring membership, the calendar here stays genuinely active.

"It was very inviting from the first step in the door, there were only a few people in there. However they were a really nice welcoming bunch enjoying a night cap or 2. The bartender, Becky, was a super nice lady. She was very attentive to us and served every drink with a smile. We will definitely go back for another visit."

"We were looking for a restaurant called Yayahs. Drove past this place twice before we decided the Elk Lodge was the restaurant. The vehicles parked in front prevented us from seeing the name. Super glad we were persistent. When we walked in we were still unsure if we were in the right location. But the waiter assured us with a warm welcome that we were at the restaurant and told us we could sit anywhere. It seems the waiter is the owner and a jack of all trades. He took our orders, cooked our burgers, and provided us with a free dessert. Even though he was doing everything he never acted too busy to chat with us for a few minutes. Our meals were excellent! DH had the Double Smash Burger loaded with fries. He said it was tasty. Crispy edges and juicy, just like a burger should be. I had the crispy chicken sandwich, I tend to shy away from the chicken because most cooks overcook chicken so badly that it is dry. Not this chef, it was so juicy. I could have eaten a second sandwich. This will be added to a list of we like this place."
